Quarter-Time Scans

Case Study #1

WBR: Xpress3.Cardiac
Tc-99m Tetrofosmin Single-Day Rest/Stress Myocardial Perfusion Study
Dosage: 9.8 mCi Rest; 30.4 mCi Stress. (Bruce treadmill stress test to 100% MPHR.)
Scan Times: 4.5 min. Rest; 3.0 min. Stress.

q1Patient Data
65-year-old male, 6', 185 lbs., 42" chest circumference. History of inferior wall myocardial infarction. Stress/rest images demonstrate marked, extensive inferior wall perfusion abnormality. Otherwise, normal perfusion in remainder of LV myocardium. (Gated stress/rest images showed mild LV dilation, with moderate decrease in LVEF.)
Note that the Xpress3.Cardiac WBR offers excellent image quality: homogeneous tracer distribution throughout the normally perfused myocardium; superior definition of endocardial and epicardial borders and of LV cavity.
